CCRSI is pleased to offer on-site medical training sessions for DMH Level 1 Medication Administration and American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification at our Administration Office. The available courses and details are listed below.

Level 1 Medication Aide

All Level 1 Medication Aide trainings are three (3) days.

Individuals successfully completing this 16-hour course and accompanying examination will be certified as a Medication Aide through the Department of Mental Health.

Participants must attend the full three-day course. The course will be taught from the 1993 Level I Medication Aide Guide.

Cost of admission is $105.

 

Level 1 Medication Aide Refresher/Update

This four-hour training course is designed for individuals needing to renew their certification as a Medication Aide. (The Department of Mental Health requires an update every 2 years.) To register for this course, students must forward a copy of their Level I Medication Aide certificate with the registration form.

Cost of admission is $50.

 

First Aid/CPR/AED Training

Learn basic life support skills. Individuals successfully completing this course and examination will be certified in FIRST AID/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross for a two-year period. This is a 5-hour course, and individuals successfully completing this course and examination will be certified in CPR through the American Red Cross for a two-year period.

Cost of admission is $105.

 

First Aid/CPR/AED Refresher Class

The CPR recertification course allows participants to refresh their memory, renew their skills, and stay up to date on the latest techniques. Designed for those whose credentials are still valid but near expiration, our abbreviated CPR refresher course takes less time than our standard CPR class (approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes) and allows you to maintain certification for an additional two years. Participants are required to demonstrate their ability to complete the hands-on requirements doing compressions and breaths and demonstrate the use of an AED machine.

Cost of admission is $75.
